Are you experienced in designing and developing solutions utilizing the Microsoft .Net Technology Stack? Do you have strong software design and development skills with the .Net Framework, C#, MVC, the SharePoint 2010 / 2013 platform along with other web technologies? Would you like to work with the technology team that is building the new intranet, collaboration and knowledge platform for The Jackson Laboratory?
If so, The Jackson Laboratory has a great opportunity for you in beautiful Down East Maine. We are seeking a Programmer / Analyst with solid experience designing and building applications using the Microsoft .Net Framework, SharePoint Platform in addition to other web application technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with the Web Architect and the user community to develop applications for an integrated collaboration platform, customer portal and other web based projects.
Responsibilities:
Define business requirements, domain models, use cases, and UI wireframes and navigation models.
Design the technical components based on the defined business requirements
Develop applications based on the designed technical specifications

Required Skills
Ability to work in a team environment to analyze, recommend, design and deliver solutions that solve problems presented by the user community.
Ability to prioritize and deliver solutions in a timely manner, usually under pressure and shifting priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting technical concepts to peers.
Demonstrated experience developing solutions utilizing the Microsoft .Net Framework, C#, MVC and other web technologies
Required Experience
A bachelor's degree or greater in Computer Science or related field.
3 years of experience with Microsoft .Net Framework and SharePoint (nice to have), developing and deploying features from Visual Studio.
3 years of experience developing against the SharePoint Object Model along with Workflows and Event Receivers.
5 years of experience in object-oriented, n-tier web application development using C#, MVC, JQuery, SQL Server and other related technologies such as Entity Framework, and MongoDB
2 - 3 years of experience utilizing UML for business and system specifications along with working within the guidelines of an established SDLC and delivery model.
