We are seeking an Application Administrator with solid experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems to contribute in a team-oriented environment to a multi-year implementation of an enterprise LIMS system across several dozen laboratories at multiple sites in the organization. The successful candidate will be part of the ELIMS implementation and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide application specific setup and configuration.
Instance management and cloning, as required, to refresh the application configurations and data from one instance to another.
Maintain operational documentation.
Collaborate with Systems Administration to ensure application level backups are performed as required by the SLA. Ensure application recovery is document and tested.
Establish, monitor and maintain application security in compliance with applicable laws and regulations as identified by the IT Security Office.
Recommend, schedule, and perform application patches and upgrades.
Performs front line troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Required Skills
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven Ability to write and maintain effective technical and program documentation.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both technical and functional).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience in the documentation, support and analysis of an enterprise application.
Experience with STARLiMS preferred or related LIMS
Experience with GxP/CLIA/HIPPA preferred
