Client ERP IT team is looking for an architect level developer who will provide technical leadership and expertise in large ERP development projects using Microsoft Dynamics AX, SQL development, Lawson, Salesforce and service development using .NET. As a technical leader, this role will require working across IT with Business System Analysts, Enterprise Architects, stakeholders in Operations and Finance, and a host of others on cross-functional and often cross-departmental teams to assess the business need and implications to client's ERP. This individual will then be responsible for crafting the technical design in alignment with the product's roadmap and best practices. Finally, this role is responsible for oversight of other developers as they implement new functionality ensuring efficiency and is accountable for maintaining established high quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Works directly with leadership to craft the ERP Roadmap and Strategy
Understands business objectives and crafts solutions to meet those business objectives, partners across JAX to achieve the implementation of the solutions
Sets code and design standards along with best practices for technical practices in the team
Estimates/sizes work at various phases of the project lifecycle
Breaks down efforts into development tasks and drives execution to completion, either by completing individually or overseeing others
Participates in daily/weekly design meetings and interacts with others to work towards a common solution
Presents to peers, team or IT community on technologies ideas, or other projects.
Maintains high availability for application, and client support
Participates in peer code reviews
Maintains a HIGH level of ownership and see assignments through to completion based on agreed upon deadlines
Mentors developers on the ERP team in software development practices, appropriate use of design patterns, strong unit test automation practices, and technical leadership
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
6+ years' experience as a technical developer and/or leader
Experience with MS Dynamics AX is required, Dynamics 365 is required
Expert understanding of Scrum preferred
Experience with MS SQL Server database
Experience with other ERPs, especially Lawson, is a plus
Experience with other Microsoft tools (such as SSRS, SSAS, TFS, or Visual Studio)
Advanced experience and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Visio.
Hands on development experience, X++ and .NET

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
