HR Shared Services Manager - Maine or NH

HR Shared Services Manager ? Bar Harbor Bank and Trust is seeking an experienced strategic human resources leader with a passion for developing client-focused, technology-driven, and operationally efficient services to join our team as Manager of HR Shared Services. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in the transformation of HR through the enhancement of our HR operations team. As a part of our HR Leadership team you will report directly to the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer while working closely with our Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners. This position could be located in either Bar Harbor or Ellsworth, ME, or our Newport, NH location.
The HR Shared Services Manager will lead the Shared Services team to effectively carry out day-to-day services related to monitoring, maintaining, and continuously improving the HR processes/HR technology, including data management, customer service/self-service, payroll, and reporting & analytics. Initial success will be measured by the enhancement of the employee experience through data driven, operationally efficient initiatives, with an overall goal to develop and execute a strategic plan that supports the growth of the Bank through digital HR services.
A successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in related field and professional certification preferred.
12+ years of professional experience with at least 6 years as an HR Shared services professional and 2 years of people management.
Experience extracting data from HR technology and developing reports, dashboard, trend analysis, survey input, and more.
Knowledge of data privacy issues, HR laws, and regulations associated with HR shared services.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives successfully and simultaneously.
Ability to review a process and identify and implement improvements.
Strong ability to define processes that facilitate operational excellence and have demonstrated the ability to identify systemic improvements, problem solve and consistently deliver best-in-class end-user experiences.
Data-driven and highly analytical, and able to translate data and trends into compelling messaging.
Strong attention to quality and detail and proven track record in providing excellence in execution.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
