Wellness Program Manager

Summary The Onsite Wellness Program Manager will develop onsite wellness programs for the multi-site Jackson Laboratory.  The WPM is a strategic partner who collaborates with Human Resources, Strategic Communications, and senior leadership to develop, communicate, and implement onsite wellness programs that promote a culture of health and wellbeing while addressing the specific health needs of the JAX employee population. The Program Manager will work closely with the wellness committees/departments to create integrated programming designed to improve awareness of health issues as well as create opportunities for the people of JAX to engage in healthy activities. Responsibilities Coordinate the planning and delivery of JAXfit throughout the organization in collaboration with the CHRO and campus specific stakeholders.  In collaboration with the CHRO, implementation of the yearly strategic wellness plan including the program plan, marketing plan, and communication plan.  Ensure delivery of a fully integrated Program throughout all service lines (e.g. HR, Benefits, Health and Safety, etc.).  Design and develop outcomes focused programs and interventions including data collection and evaluation process.  Assess the effectiveness of current wellness interventions and enhance delivery methods to reach segments of the population with greater impact on outcome results.  Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of data collected during health promotion activities.  Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degreerequired. Degree in health promotion, psychology, social work or other health related field preferred. Master's Degree in Human Resources/Health Promotion preferred. 3 years' experience managing a corporate wellness program in a large complex organization; preferably in multiple sites. 3 years' experience in developing and delivering dynamic and engaging presentations to senior leaders as well as front line staff. Strategic thinker with strong problem solving capabilities. Demonstrated skill in effective and professional oral and written communication CHES, ACSM and fitness certifications preferred. Excellent organizational, time-management and multi-tasking skills required, as demonstrated by ability to manage details accurately. Successful demonstrated experience to take independent initiative, exercise good judgement in decision-making, critical confidentiality and discretion on sensitive topics. Able to multi-task on a variety of assignments while remaining focused and professional.  Needs to be flexible and adaptable in dealing with changing priorities and tasks Strong interpersonal skills to work in a high-profile and fast-paced environment. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Position is based in Bar Harbor but must be willing to travel to Farmington and Sacramento site 3-4 times per year. Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills and will be asked to "persuasively present" to large groups in promotion of activities, classes and overall laboratory health risks and wellness goals and prepare articles for quarterly wellness newsletter and a variety. Will need to become familiar with area wellness resources and network and negotiate as needed.  2018-26046

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
